Traveling to Stampin' Up! Leadership- Denver Airport

My adventure to Leadership with Stampin' Up! started in the Denver Airport where I pulled out a Paper Pumpkin box that I had filled with Good As Gold Card kit from the Sale-A-Bration products, see photo above. Across the aisle from where I was sitting was a little girl who had on what I would call pajama pants. I commented on her pants as one pant leg was the Oregon Ducks and the other leg the Oregon Beavers (which I had mistaken for the Chicago Bears). She crossed over the aisle and peered around my luggage and asked, "Whatcha doing?" I replied that I was going to make some cards. She hovered over for a minute or two so I asked her if she would like to help me. Within just a few minutes we were in full blown card making mode. I had to make a quick decision on how important it was for me to have "control" over how these cards turned out versus the enjoyment of the experience. So without much hesitation I laid out the parts and asked her to pick out the pieces/color combinations. I showed her how to use the Snail Adhesive (Stampin' Up! Product) and she was hooked. We made 5 cards and then she was interested in playing with here baby sister. She was a great card maker! Thanks Cadence for helping me out, I hope you had a a great time visiting your Grandma in Minnesota. The experience was "Good As Gold".
